Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate for weekend shifts at the Fort Worth facility. You will unload trucks, check in using the Manhattan system, pick and pack items, and prepare shipments with pallet jacks and other MHE.

The role requires 1–2 years of related warehousing experience, RF or voice-picking familiarity, and the ability to lift heavy items and work 12-hour shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent (preferred).
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• RF scanner/voice-picking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks in the inbound area using pallet jack; move pallets.
• Use Manhattan WMS to check in products and manage storage.
• Pick products and load outbound trucks; organize stock upon receipt.
• Operate MHE (order picker, forklift, reach truck) as required.
• Cross-train in Inbound, Replenishment and Outbound.
• Ensure correct product identification and labeling.

This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. ***Responsibilities**** Unloading trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.* Using Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.* Storing products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.* Picking products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.* Cross-training in multiple departments: Inbound, Replenishment and Outbound* Breaking down cases of product and operate PIT equipment to stock or replenish warehouse* Utilizing voice to pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or to pick small unit of measure items and place on cart* Ensuring high quality through attention to detail and correctly identify products by item number* Organizing and segregate similar items at point of receipt* Breaking down and palletizing large items to skid and wrap for shipment* Packing and correctly label small items in boxes or bags* Driving material handling equipment as required by job duty.
