Job summary

Jobandtalent is recruiting for a Weekend Picker/Packer in Fort Worth to join a fast-paced 3PL fulfillment center. You will pick customer orders, pack items, and prepare shipments with RF scanners and warehouse management software. The role requires weekend availability and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation is $17.50 per hour with weekly direct deposit. On-site support and benefits are provided from day one, with potential for permanent hire and advancement in leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs periodically during shift.
• Experience in a fast-paced production tracking environment is preferred.
• Availability to work weekends is required.

Job description

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Weekend Picker/Packer to work with Shipbob in Fort Worth. This role is based in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art third-party logistics fulfillment center where you will play a crucial role in the supply chain by accurately selecting customer orders and preparing products for safe and timely shipment.

Shift Patterns:

• Saturday to Tuesday 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• Thursday to Sunday 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM

Pay Rates:

• 17.50 USD hourly
• Must have availability to work every weekend
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. periodically during shift when necessary
• Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
• Experience working in a production tracking fast paced job environment

Desirable Requirements for Weekend Picker/Packer:

• Experience working in a 3PL environment
• Familiarity with picking and packing operations
• Flexible to change departments per business needs
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions
• Efficiently navigate warehouse aisles to locate, identify, and retrieve items listed on digital picking sheets or RF scanners.
• Securely box, wrap, and label items according to client specifications and carrier requirements to ensure damage-free delivery.
• Scan and double-check product barcodes, item numbers, and quantities to maintain 100% order accuracy.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management software to update real-time stock levels and order statuses.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing station, ensuring packing materials are fully stocked.
