Job summary

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate at our Waterworks location in Bismarck, ND. This role involves working in a warehouse as well as outside in the pipe yard, year-round and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with some overtime as needed. You will operate forklifts, build and move pallets, receive and stock material, and observe safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.
• Forklift Operator experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to carry objects up to 50 lbs by hand or with equipment.
• Valid state-issued driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate both stand-up forklift and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Work outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, in all weather conditions.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Effectively receive and store inventory.
• Adhere to all safety regulations including PPE; safety harness up to 400 lbs.
• May perform driving duties as needed.

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate at our Waterworks location in Bismarck, ND. This role will involve working in a warehouse as well as outside in the pipe yard. Most of the product you will be working with is outside and requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Safely operate both a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping
• Work outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, performing duties in all weather conditions.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Effectively receive and store inventory.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
• May be responsible for providing driving duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory, is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.
• Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs. by hand and 50 lbs. or more using equipment.
• Valid state-issued driver's license is required

Pay Range

$17.41 - $26.11

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
