Ferguson Enterprises, LLC seeks a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate at our Waterworks location in Lubbock, TX. You will operate forklifts, build pallets, and stock piping in outdoor conditions, with safety strictures and PPE compliance.

The role is based in a yard and warehouse environment, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed. Pre-employment checks apply and benefits are provided.

Competenze

• Experience in shipping, receiving, delivery and inventory.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.
• Forklift Operator experience strongly preferred.

Mansioni

• Operate stand-up forklift and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Work outdoors year-round in a pipeyard in all weather conditions.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material on time.

This role will involve working in a warehouse as well as outside in the pipe yard. Most of the product you will be working with is outside and requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and some overtime as needed.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate both a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large pipingWork outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, performing duties in all weather conditions.Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.Effectively receive and store inventory.Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.QualificationsA background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory, is preferred.Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.General computer skills for basic data entry.Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred.Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs. by hand and 50 lbs. or more using equipment.*Pre-employment drug and background screening required*At Ferguson, we care for each other.
