Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate at our Waterworks location. The role involves operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pulling and packaging outbound orders, and working outdoors in a pipe yard year-round.

You will verify and stock materials, handle pallets, and comply with safety regulations, including PPE. Pre-employment drug and background screening is required. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations including shipping and receiving.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs by hand and more with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to pull and prepare orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material; store inventory.

This role will involve working in a warehouse as well as outside in the pipe yard. Most of the product you will be working with is outside and requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as neededResponsibilitiesSafely operate both a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large pipingWork outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, performing duties in all weather conditions.Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.Effectively receive and store inventory.Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.QualificationsA background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.General computer skills for basic data entry.Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred.Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs. by hand and 50 lbs. or more using equipment.*Pre-employment drug and background screening required*At Ferguson, we care for each other.
