Job summary

Triad Technologies, LLC is seeking a dependable Shipping/Receiving Associate for a full-time, M-F schedule from 7:30 to 4:30. You will verify and prepare shipments, pull parts, and assist with loading and unloading trucks.

Responsibilities include prioritizing orders, following documents, inspecting for damages, labeling, and keeping inventory of materials. Forklift training can be provided; must lift 50–75 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent with 6 months to 1 year of related experience
• Reads and follows written work instructions
• Strong mathematical skills and measurement ability
• Able to read blueprints when needed
• Able to use standard hand and power tools
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
• Forklift certification available/training offered

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize daily shipping orders when received.
• Pull all parts as indicated on the shipping orders and assemble as needed.
• Contact freight carrier and complete required paperwork.
• Load and unload trucks; inspect containers and report damages.
• Verify items against bills of lading, invoices, or orders.
• Determine method of shipment and affix labels.
• Assemble or select containers and prepare items for shipment.
• Pack/unpack shipments; report shortages to shipper.
• Route items and ensure outgoing shipments meet specs.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials; make local deliveries when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. This is a full-time position, M-F, 7:30 – 4:30 pm.

• - Review and prioritize daily shipping orders when received.
• - Pull all parts as indicated on the shipping orders, assemble and other components if necessary.
• - If required, call the freight carrier indicated on the shipping order and complete any paperwork that the carrier may require.
• - Load and unload trucks as necessary. Inspect containers and material reporting any damage or missing items noticed.
• - Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
• - Determines method of shipment.
• - Affixes shipping labels on packed boxes.
• - Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
• - Inserts items into containers, binds the container with the appropriate tape.
• - Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify any shortages.
• - Routes items to appropriate location.
• - Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• - Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• - Make product deliveries to local customers on occasion
• - Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• - GED; and 6 months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• - Reads and follow written work instructions
• - Possess strong mathematical skills,
• - Able to measure and read/interpret blueprints when needed
• - Able to use standard hand and power tools
• - Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
• - Ability to become forklift certified (we can train)
• - Excellent attention to detail
