Job summary

Total Talent Tolutions, in partnership with Vallen Distribution, is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Geismar, LA. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with a 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday schedule.

Role involves picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling to ensure accurate and safe order fulfillment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required), basic computer skills, and at least 1 year in warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, shipping documents, safety procedures, and warehouse instructions.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and inventory tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming inventory and materials.
• Cross-check orders, shipping documents, and inventory records for accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment including sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and warehouse organization.
• Enter and maintain accurate inventory and shipment data in warehouse systems.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch; occasional overtime.
• Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential pay increase upon permanent hire and weekend on-call rotation after conversion.
