Job summary

IKEA in Joliet is seeking a warehouse associate to manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storage of goods. You will unload inbound/outbound shipments, secure merchandise for safe movement, and contribute to daily workload planning to handle volume and seasonal changes.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and fluency in English with preference for forklift experience. Full-time, day shift, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30 kgs ergonomically.
• Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.

• Remove and properly document all damages found or caused on inbound/outbound merchandise.
• Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects assigned, where applicable.
