Job summary

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin in Appleton is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support receiving, organizing, fulfilling, and moving food and other essentials through our distribution center.

This full-time, 1st-shift role offers hands-on training, competitive starting pay of $18.75 per hour, and a clear path for advancement. You will work as part of a team in a safe, team-oriented environment, helping provide nourishment to eastern Wisconsin communities.

Qualifications

• Commitment to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin's mission and work to address food insecurity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with safety and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments, including very cold conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill and prepare orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and checking in incoming products.
• Weigh, count, scan, label, and track products to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Move products to and from receiving, storage, staging, cooler, freezer, and distribution areas.
• Ensure products are scanned, labeled, stored, and placed in correct locations.
• Inspect products for quality, freshness, and safety and report issues.
• Sort and organize products on racks, shelves, and pallets.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment after training and certification.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse including cooler and freezer areas.
• Support storage conditions for refrigerated and frozen products safely.
