Job summary

Codale Electric Supply in Sparks, NV is hiring a Warehouse Associate to pick, pack, ship, and receive orders, while maintaining organized work areas and accurate inventory records.

You will use receiving software, coordinate shipments, inspect incoming goods, and safely operate warehouse equipment. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment: Pick, pack and prepare outgoing shipments per customer orders.
• Shipping coordination: Process shipping labels and documents.
• Inspection: Check incoming goods for defects or discrepancies.
• Inventory Management: Update inventory systems and labeling/storage.
• Documentation: Complete receiving logs and maintain records.
• Equipment Use: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Coordination: Support receiving, shipping, inventory and quality control.
• Stock Organization: Keep receiving area clean and hazard-free.
• Returns: Process returned items and coordinate replacements or credits.
• Other duties as needed.

Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associates are responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, packaging, shipping and receiving orders to ensure timely delivery to customers. This role involves maintaining organized work areas, inspecting items for quality and coordination with other departments to ensure smooth overall warehouse operations.

What You’ll Do

• Order fulfillment: Pick, pack and prepare outing shipments specific to each customer order- ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Shipping coordination: Process shipping labels, documents while prepping products in staging areas for transportation or pickups.
• Inspection: Check incoming goods for defects, damages, or discrepancies, and report issues to the supervisor or purchasing department.
• Inventory Management: Update inventory systems with received items and ensure proper labeling and storage in designated locations.
• Documentation: Complete receiving logs, file necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate records for inventory tracking.
• Equipment Use: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Coordination: Collaborate and assist with receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control operations to ensure smooth workflow and accurate stock levels.
• Stock Organization: Organize and maintain the receiving area, ensuring it is clean and free from hazards.
• Returns: Process returned items or defective goods, coordinating with vendors or suppliers for replacements or credits.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.
