Job summary

Codale Electric Supply in Sparks, NV is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately prepare, pack, ship and receive orders. You will maintain organized areas, inspect items, and coordinate with teams to ensure smooth operations across receiving, shipping, and inventory.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is a plus; schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment: Pick, pack and prepare shipments for customer orders.
• Shipping coordination: Process labels and prep documents for transport.
• Inspection: Check incoming goods for defects and report issues.
• Inventory Management: Update inventory systems and label/storage items.
• Documentation: Maintain receiving logs and records.
• Equipment Use: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
• Coordination: Support receiving, shipping, inventory, and QC operations.
• Stock Organization: Keep receiving area clean and organized.
• Returns: Process returned items and coordinate replacements or credits.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associates are responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, packaging, shipping and receiving orders to ensure timely delivery to customers. This role involves maintaining organized work areas, inspecting items for quality and coordination with other departments to ensure smooth overall warehouse operations.

What you'll do:

• Order fulfillment: Pick, pack and prepare outing shipments specific to each customer order- ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Shipping coordination: Process shipping labels, documents while prepping products in staging areas for transportation or pickups.
• Inspection: Check incoming goods for defects, damages, or discrepancies, and report issues to the supervisor or purchasing department.
• Inventory Management: Update inventory systems with received items and ensure proper labeling and storage in designated locations.
• Documentation: Complete receiving logs, file necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate records for inventory tracking.
• Equipment Use: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Coordination: Collaborate and assist with receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control operations to ensure smooth workflow and accurate stock levels.
• Stock Organization: Organize and maintain the receiving area, ensuring it is clean and free from hazards.
• Returns: Process returned items or defective goods, coordinating with vendors or suppliers for replacements or credits.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.
