Job summary

Bellmont Cabinets is seeking a skilled Sorter to join our Machining Department. The role focuses on organizing and verifying cut cabinet components, checking barcodes, quality, and materials to ensure cabinetry parts meet high standards.

As a Sorter, you will work closely with the CNC Machinist, stage components, and help maintain a safe, clean workspace while contributing to on-time production targets and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone and up to 50 pounds with help from a team member.
• Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, and small barcodes.
• A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a CNC Machinist to organize and stage cut cabinet components into carts.
• Verify barcodes and quality of each piece before moving carts to the next production stage.
• Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Clean and maintain your work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members across your department to support production flow and improve overall quality and efficiency.
• Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value technicians who think critically and take ownership.
