Bellmont Cabinets is seeking a Cefla Technician for the Finish Department in a hands-on role. You will scuff cabinet components, inspect surfaces, and ensure high finish quality in a fast-paced setting. The position emphasizes craftsmanship, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.

The role offers training for the right candidate, a swing shift, and a pathway to grow within a manufacturing environment focused on quality finishes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior finishing, painting, or woodworking experience is a plus; however, your eagerness to learn and strong work ethic are what truly matter.
• Ability to recognize and resolve common finishing issues, including sanding problems and surface imperfections.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds solo; team help for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Scuff cabinet components to enhance natural wood grain texture.
• Identify surface or coating defects and determine repairs.
• Unload components from the finishing line and load onto carts for transfer.
• Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with teammates to support production flow and finish quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and workmanship integrity.
• Share ideas for process improvements and ownership of outcomes.

Qualifications: What You Bring

• Ability to recognize and resolve common finishing issues, including areas that have been sanded too much or not enough, as well as surface imperfections.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
• Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate and report quality concerns.
• Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, and chemical labels.
• A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team‑first attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
