Warehouse Associate - Sorter

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate Sorter for our St. Louis, MO facility. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing product and sorting items to the correct staging area within the facility. PAY: $16.50 Per Hour

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday - Friday; 8:00AM – 5:00PM

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Receive, sort and move product and materials both manually and with equipment.
• Monitor and perform scanning processes on customer freight.
• Transport product efficiently and safely to staging area(s).
• Report questionable and/or defective product to management.
• Be proactive by maintaining a clean work area that is free of hazards.
• Be flexible with duties/schedule, depending on level of workload.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• A Can-Do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently or on a team and to carry out assignments to completion.
• Ability to read/understand product labels.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, be pleasant and provide exemplary customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Candidates with a high school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• 1+ year of previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS:

• Standing/walking/bending for extended periods of time.
• Carrying/balancing/lifting.
• Capacity to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. intermittently.
