Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Kentucky is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for organizing the workspace, refilling stock, and assisting with safety tasks while learning trade-specific items. The role includes driving and delivering fire safety materials and equipment, and candidates must pass an MVR driving record.
You will manage receiving freight, stocking inventory, performing counts, shipping, and keeping tools and shop areas clean.
This position is responsible for general warehouse operations such as organizing/cleaning the workspace, refilling stock, general safety and learning the technical items of the trade. They will also be driving delivering fire safety material and equipment. Must pass an MVR driving record
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to pass an MVR driving record. Any vocational training is strongly desired. Industry experience preferred, OR general warehouse experience Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently. Requires the ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Requires the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions. Requires the ability to use or repair small/light equipment, such as power tools, ladders, medium equipment and machinery.
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy. Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent lifting and carrying of toolboxes, equipment, parts, tools, equipment, cabling, and/or wiring. Frequent ladder climbing and checking, pulling wire, etc. Walking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, and raising hands overhead.
Starts at $18-$20 per hour DOE
