Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations, including receiving, checking, distributing, and managing inventory. Responsibilities include following up on discrepancies, maintaining neat and accurate stock locations, filling orders, and supporting delivery operations.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Receive incoming freight, check for damages or shortages.
• Distribute materials to proper stock locations.
• Fill special orders and backorders.
• Follow up on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Check and pack materials for delivery.
• Coordinate deliveries, understanding truck routes and shipping methods.
• Maintain shipping equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization.
• Label and inventory managed materials properly.
• Maintain delivery vehicle condition and logs.
• Operate equipment safely, adhering to safety regulations.
• Support warehouse operations and communicate inventory issues.

Non-essential Functions

• Assist customer service functions like order entry, returns, and Will Call.
• Deliver materials to customer sites and assist with loading/unloading trucks.
• Report maintenance, repair, or security issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred two years of work experience.
• Experience in warehouse distribution, forklift operation, electrical products is a plus.
• Driver's license and medical certification if driving.
• Knowledge of Windows, Internet, email, SAP is a plus.
