Job summary

T&A Supply Company in Kent, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate II for the Samples department. You will receive and store products, handle shipments, and support internal customers with accurate order processing.

The role requires 3+ years of warehouse experience, forklift operation, and familiarity with a WMS system such as Gartman IBM i. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm; compensation reflects $23.00–$25.00 hourly.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for accurately receiving and storing products for the Samples department. The Warehouse Associate II will support all activities within the Samples department and provide exceptional customer service to internal customers. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

What you will be doing:

• Support all functions within the Samples Warehouse : receiving, shipping, inventory, and sample production.
• Receive purchase orders and ship sample displays in response to internal and external customer requests.
• Unloa d trucks and accurately receive products into the Gartman system.
• Demonstrate a pro-active approach to resolving issues and support the goals and initiatives as communicated by the Samples Supervisor.
• Follow Activity Management procedures (formerly QMS) to accura tely complete work assignments and support training initiatives as directed by the Samples Supervisor and other management team members.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, table saw, drill press and RF Scanners safely and efficiently.
• Promote and perform all assigned duties in a safe manner in support of company policies and procedures. The expectation includes reporting any potential hazards and correcting potential unsafe situations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Participates in cross-training and is expected to support all warehouse functions as business needs require.

What we are looking for:

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work within assigned deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Gartman (IBM i ) or similar WMS system.
• Previous experience with a forklift, pallet jack and RF Scanner.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 or more year s of experience operating forklifts, packaging materi al , and loading trucks.
• 3 or more year s of experience working in a warehouse environment performing warehouse duties including receiving, shipping, or der pulling or and will call duties .
• Shrink w rap machine and RF Scanning experie nce preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, operating a forklift and working in a warehouse environment with varied temperatures.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 6 0 pounds at times, bend, stretc h , and pull product.
