Job summary

Batesville is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Los Angeles to handle shipments, inspect units, and maintain inventory with safety as a priority.

You will unload inbound and load outbound caskets, keep work areas tidy, and operate power equipment safely. A minimum of 1 year in warehouse work is required; basic computer skills and teamwork are essential. Flexible scheduling and potential forklift experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse or related experience is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to drive a truck within the facility and learn to spot trailers.
• Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
• Unload inbound and load outbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
• Operate various power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Other duties may be assigned.
