Job summary

Batesville in Memphis, TN is hiring for a warehouse associate role. You will inspect units, load/unload caskets, and maintain a clean, safe work area while operating power equipment. Qualifications

• 1-year prior warehouse or related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers.
• Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to meet customer demand.
• Ability to lift and/or move equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
• Unload inbound and load outbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
• Operate various power equipment efficiently and safely.
• Other duties may be assigned.
