Position Overview

Warehouse Associate Rebuilder
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

The Associate Rebuilder plays a crucial role in the Refurbishment Department, assisting in rebuilding and certifying laundry and air equipment. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in mechanical repair, quality control, and logistics, ensuring refurbished machines meet company standards before deployment. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, pay close attention to detail, and seek a career in technical or mechanical fields.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Rebuild Operations: Assist in disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of laundry and air equipment.
  2. Parts & Inventory Management: Manage parts retrieval, organization, and tracking.
  3. Equipment Preparation: Clean and prepare machines for rebuilding.
  4. Quality Control: Conduct final inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
  5. Logistics & Shipping: Prepare machines for shipment, document shipping details.
  6. Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to safety procedures.
  7. Additional duties as assigned by the Rebuilding Manager.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
  • 0-3 years in technical, mechanical, or warehouse roles preferred
  • Experience in mechanical repair, warehouse logistics, or equipment maintenance is a plus
  • Familiarity with liquid propane and natural gas is beneficial
  • Attention to detail for quality control
  • Ability to follow safety and maintenance procedures
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina for warehouse tasks
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand dollies)
  • Basic plumbing/electrical knowledge is a plus
  • Lift/carry up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, reaching overhead, and maneuvering heavy equipment in confined spaces
