Job summary

Taylor Metal Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Salem, OR to support manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse logistics for quality component production. The role involves operating hand-tools, inspecting products, and following directions in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate a forklift. A background check and drug screening are required for safety-sensitive work.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Basic math skills
• Written communication skills
• 3–6 months manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred (in-house)

Responsibilities

• Operate hand-tools.
• Visually inspect product for quality control and/or defects.
• Take and follow verbal directions.
• Stand for long periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Drive forklift.
• Read tape measure.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Occasional cross-department support as needed.
