Job summary

Sonepar is hiring a Warehouse Associate (Picking) in Mesa, AZ. You will pick, pack, and prepare orders, coordinate shipping, inspect goods, and maintain inventory accuracy. You’ll work with receiving teams to ensure smooth flow and safe operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment: Pick, pack and prepare outing shipments, ensuring accuracy.
• Shipping coordination: Process labels and documents for transportation or pickup.
• Inspection: Check incoming goods for defects or discrepancies and report issues.
• Inventory management: Update systems and ensure correct labeling and storage.
• Documentation: Maintain receiving logs and paperwork for inventory tracking.
• Equipment use: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Coordination: Assist receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control.
• Stock organization: Keep receiving area clean and hazard-free.
• Returns: Process returned items and coordinate replacements or credits.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Warehouse Associate (Picking)

Warehouse Associates are responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, packaging, shipping, and receiving orders to ensure timely delivery to customers. This role involves maintaining organized work areas, inspecting items for quality and coordination with other departments to ensure smooth overall warehouse operations.

What you'll do:

• Order fulfillment: Pick, pack and prepare outing shipments specific to each customer order- ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Shipping coordination: Process shipping labels, documents while prepping products in staging areas for transportation or pickups.
• Inspection: Check incoming goods for defects, damages, or discrepancies, and report issues to the supervisor or purchasing department.
• Inventory Management: Update inventory systems with received items and ensure proper labeling and storage in designated locations.
• Documentation: Complete receiving logs, file necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate records for inventory tracking.
• Equipment Use: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Coordination: Collaborate and assist with receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control operations to ensure smooth workflow and accurate stock levels.
• Stock Organization: Organize and maintain the receiving area, ensuring it is clean and free from hazards.
• Returns: Process returned items or defective goods, coordinating with vendors or suppliers for replacements or credits.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.

What you'll bring:
