Job summary

Covetrus, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate, Picker/Packer, Animal Health for our Columbus, OH distribution center. You will fulfill and ship customer orders in a climate-controlled environment with a small team.

No prior experience is required; 18+ years old candidates are welcome. We value reliability, basic math, English literacy, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• No work experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prefer 6 months’ work experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• Ability to read and understand English to read product descriptions, labels, shelves, and other product documents.
• Ability to understand basic math to ensure accurate product quantities.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).

Responsibilities

• Pulls products accurately from stock for customer orders.
• Ensures orders are filled with the earliest expiration dates first.
• Carefully packs orders with correct items and documentation.
• Ships products per Department of Transportation regulations and logs hazardous materials.
• Uses economical shipping methods and verifies manifests.
