Job summary

Covetrus in Ocala, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, pack, and ship orders in a climate-controlled distribution center. You will pull products from stock, verify accuracy, and prepare shipments with required paperwork.

No prior warehouse experience required; you must be 18+, able to read English, lift up to 70 pounds, and learn to operate order picker/forklift equipment. The role includes overtime as needed and benefits such as 401k, PTO, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• No work experience required; must be at least 18 years old.
• Prefer 6 months’ work experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• Ability to read and understand English to read product descriptions and documents.
• Ability to understand basic math to ensure accurate quantities.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).

Responsibilities

• Pulls products accurately and efficiently from stock for customer orders and prioritizes earliest expiration dates.
• Carefully packs orders, verifies against invoices, and includes required brochures and materials.
• Ensures shipping complies with regulations and maintains accurate manifests and economical methods.
