Job summary

Cardinal Health in Aurora, IL is hiring for a Warehouse Operations role. You will receive, pick, pack and ship pharmaceuticals and related products while following established processes to ensure accuracy and quality.

The position requires readiness to work a fast-paced environment with overtime as needed, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to train on material handling equipment such as order pickers and forklifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Overtime flexibility and ability to train on equipment.
• No previous warehouse experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders.
• Accurately pick products, perform quality control checks, pack products, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Occasionally wear steel-toed boots in the warehouse.
• Work in cold temperatures during parts of the shift.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required.
• Operate equipment including order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
