Job summary

Parts ASAP in Lake Mills, IA is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for part-time opportunities. If you have forklift experience and enjoy a fast-paced environment, you’ll help load, pick, pack, and ship parts to keep customers and equipment running.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am–2:30pm, with bi-weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and room for career growth in a growing industry leader. You’ll work safely, maintain inventory, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily shipping

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and shipping software.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and organize inventory.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with speed and accuracy.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips.
• Load and unload trucks while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Organize inventory and ensure proper storage locations.

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a vital role in keeping our warehouse running efficiently while ensuring our customers receive the right parts on time.

Your day may include:

• Safely operating a forklift to load, unload, transport, and organize inventory.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders with speed and accuracy.
• Receiving incoming shipments and verifying products against packing slips.
• Loading and unloading trucks while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Organizing inventory and ensuring products are stored in their proper locations.
• Building pallets and crates for safe shipment.
• Performing inventory cycle counts and helping maintain inventory accuracy.
• Preparing shipping labels and coordinating outbound shipments.
• Working with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and freight companies.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse.
• Working closely with your teammates to meet daily shipping goals and exceed customer expectations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
• Experience with agricultural, construction, automotive, or heavy equipment parts.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
• Shipping and receiving experience with FedEx, UPS, or LTL freight carriers.

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting throughout the day. Candidates must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
