Job summary

Worldwide Golf is seeking a part-time Warehouse & Logistics associate for its Joliet, IL location. The role will support shipping and receiving in a fast-paced environment with flexible 15–25 hours weekly, typically 9am–5:30pm weekdays and Saturday shifts, with Sundays during peak seasons.

Experience with forklifts is a plus but not required; candidates must read and write, follow safety procedures, and maintain stock records. Training and employee discount benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome; warehouse/shipping & receiving experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery.
• Checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisors and/or purchasing personnel.
• Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
• May maintain the department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records.
• May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate shrink wrap machines; may operate company vehicles to deliver shipments; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area; may lock warehouse and set alarms.
• Follows established departmental policies, and objectives, continuous improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Details: Job Location: Joliet, IL 60433, Position Type: Part Time, Job Category: Warehouse & Logistics, Overview:

This position may be a dual position for both the shipping and the receiving departments. Therefore, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is essential.

This position will currently be scheduled 15 - 25 hours/week - flexibility is required as the scheduled hours will vary daily/weekly/seasonally. (Scheduled hours will generally be between 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday and Saturdays 9am - 3:30pm. Occasional Sundays during peak seasons)

Experience on Fork Lift Trucks and/or Order Picker Lift Trucks is a PLUS but not required.

This role will be based at our new warehouse located at 2750 Ellis Drive, Joliet, IL 60433.
