Job summary

RectorSeal is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Earth City, MO facility. This on-site, part-time role (15–30 hours/week) focuses on packaging, labeling, and preparing customer orders for parcel shipment, while supporting daily warehouse operations.

You will inspect products, protect shipments, operate shipping systems and scanners, assemble cartons, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with flexible hours to fit the team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recent experience picking and fulfilling orders.
• Familiarity with using shipping scanners.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Responsibilities

• Package customer orders accurately and efficiently according to company standards.
• Prepare parcel shipments by labeling, scanning, weighing, and verifying shipment information.
• Inspect products and packaging materials for damage, accuracy, and quality concerns prior to shipment.
• Assemble cartons and packaging materials to protect products during transit.
• Apply shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation accurately.
• Operate parcel shipping systems, scanners, scales, and related equipment.
• Wrap pallets and prepare freight shipments as needed.
• Load and unload parcels, cartons, and materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain packaging supplies and notify leadership when replenishment is needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and quality standards.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support shipping, packaging, and general warehouse operations as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
