Job summary

RectorSeal in Earth City, MO is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to prepare customer orders for parcel shipment. This on-site role focuses on packaging, labeling, inspecting products, and maintaining an organized work area, with hours between 7:00 a.m.

and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include picking and fulfilling orders, labeling shipments, using scanners and scales, and wrapping pallets.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recent experience picking and fulfilling orders.
• Familiarity with using shipping scanners.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to work independently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Package customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare parcel shipments by labeling, scanning, weighing, and verifying shipment information.
• Inspect products and packaging materials for damage, accuracy, and quality.
• Assemble cartons and packaging materials to protect products during transit.
• Apply shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation accurately.
• Operate parcel shipping systems, scanners, scales, and related equipment.
• Wrap pallets and prepare freight shipments as needed.
• Load and unload parcels, cartons, and materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain packaging supplies and report when replenishment is needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and quality standards.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support shipping, packaging, and general warehouse operations as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
• Perform other related duties as directed.

Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate who will be primarily responsible for packaging, labeling, and preparing customer orders for parcel shipment. This position supports daily warehouse operations by inspecting products, packaging materials safely and accurately, processing parcel shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is an on-site hourly position at our RectorSeal facility in Earth City, MO. Part-time schedule of 15–30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package customer orders accurately and efficiently according to company standards.
• Prepare parcel shipments by labeling, scanning, weighing, and verifying shipment information.
• Inspect products and packaging materials for damage, accuracy, and quality concerns prior to shipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear.
