Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring permanent full-time Skilled Laborers and Construction Professionals to ensure excellent craftsmanship at our manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Positions in Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Construction pay weekly.

1. Hourly Pay: $15.00 per hour during training.
2. Additional Pay: $0.49 piece rate after training.
3. Schedule: First Shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:30 am - 3:00 pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year in carpentry or construction preferred.
• Ability to understand basic math.
• Ability to operate power tools safely.
• Follow repair processes.
• Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder, and crouch regularly.
• Lift at least 75 lbs using proper techniques.
• Stand and walk for extended periods (at least 2 hours, four times a day).
• Use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Safely repair pallets meeting company safety and quality standards.
• Operate pry bars, hammers, grinders, saws, and nail guns.
• Lift pallets weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Ensure pallets pass CHEP's quality control audit.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Promote safety in all operations.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Wear all safety equipment during repairs.
• Perform other duties as required.
