Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring permanent full-time Skilled Laborers and Construction Professionals to ensure excellent craftsmanship at our manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Positions are available in Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Construction, with weekly pay.

• Hourly Pay: $15.00 during training
• Additional Pay: $0.49 piece rate after training
• Schedule: First Shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:30 am - 3:00 pm

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 0-1 year in carpentry or construction preferred
• Basic math skills
• Ability to operate power tools safely
• Follow repair processes
• Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder, crouch
• Lift at least 75 lbs using proper techniques
• Stand and walk for extended periods (at least 2 hours, four times a day)
• Use hands and feet simultaneously, perform repetitive movements

Responsibilities

• Safely repair pallets to meet quality and safety standards
• Operate pry bar, hammer, grinder, saw, and nail gun
• Lift 70 lb pallets manually
• Ensure pallets pass CHEP's quality control
• Maintain a clean work area
• Promote safety and comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Wear all safety equipment during repairs
• Perform other duties as assigned
