Tappwfs is hiring a Packaging and Material Handler for the 1st shift in El Paso, TX. You will fill, package, and inspect orders, operate the packaging line, forklift, or crane, and perform final inspections to ensure accurate outbound orders.

You’ll have opportunities to cross-train on slitting and traverse winding lines, with a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule and optional weekend overtime. Safety and quality come first in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and perform basic math.
• Use basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometer, tape measure).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong safety mindset and team player.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Fill and package orders accurately according to paperwork.
• Operate packaging line, forklift, and/or crane to move material safely and efficiently.
• Perform final inspections on material and complete all required paperwork.
• Support the team across a variety of functions to keep the operation running smoothly.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition, and report any issues or breakdowns to your Supervisor or Lead right away.
• Train other team members as needed.
• Take part in and follow health, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train on helping and operating slitting and traverse winding lines over time.

Fill, package, and inspect orders on an early Monday to Friday 1st shift, with room to cross-train onto production lines.

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with weekend overtime only if you want it.

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Want to be done by 2:30 and still have your whole afternoon ahead of you? This position gives you a consistent Monday to Friday 1st shift, and your weekends stay yours unless you choose to pick up extra hours.

You'll be the person who makes sure every order goes out right. You'll fill and package orders to spec, move material using the packaging line, forklift, or crane, and give every order a final inspection before it leaves the floor. It's hands-on work where accuracy matters and your attention to detail is noticed.

And this isn't a dead-end role. As you build experience, you'll have the opportunity to cross-train on helping and operating slitting and traverse winding lines, adding new skills that open more doors.

Compensation and Work Model

• Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the screening process.
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Weekend overtime is available on a voluntary basis.
• Work model: Onsite.
• Pay Rate: 19.00/hr
