Job summary

West Coast Metals is seeking a Warehouse Associate on swing shift in Portland, OR. Starting rate is $17.00–$19.68 per hour with up to $1.43/hour bonus potential, on a Monday–Friday schedule with a 11:30am start.

You will handle stock checks, order pulling, shipping documents, data entry in the WCM system, and assist with loading/unloading. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, creating reports, and coordinating with shipping for exceptions.

Shift Start Time - 11:30am

Monday – Friday

Accountabilities

• Check available stock using computer system
• Pull customer orders and processes as required
• Prepare Shipping Documents
• Scan or input accurate information into the WCM computer system using scanners
• Assist with processing shipping labels and checking order for accuracy
• Assist shipping/receiving in loading and unloading of product from carrier trailers
• Ability to operate material handling equipment
• Create reports and perform data entry of inventory transactions
• Coordinate with the shipping lead for exception processing, or problem escalation and resolution
• Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment
• Works under direct oversight
• Physically double-checks order to verify correct product
• Performs cycle counts of inventory
• Completes all training and training checklist
• Other tasks as assigned
