Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Denver, CO facility. You will support customers by moving parts from distribution centers to locations in need, sorting parts, building protective carriers, and operating equipment.
The role is ideal for building foundational warehouse skills within the first 24 months of your career. Shifts include 1st, 2nd and 3rd with a starting base wage of $21.65/hour plus a $1/hour night-shift premium.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Foundation building in the warehouse career within 24 months.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
Responsibilities
- Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts and supplies.
- Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
- Be trained on and operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists where available.
- Report defects and need for repairs.
- Use pneumatic/power tools to build wooden shipping containers and apply paint/rust preventative.
- Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
