Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team in North Carolina. You will perform a variety of warehouse duties including receiving, checking, labeling, storing, and preparing products for shipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Day-to-day activities involve operating forklifts, using warehouse management systems, and collaborating with teammates to ensure accurate orders and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass forklift skills assessment and operate PBV equipment.
• At least 6 months forklift experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic math, reading, writing, and communication.
• Comfortable with warehouse-automation systems and data entry.
• Able to read labels and load tickets accurately.
• Capable of counting large quantities and working in non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy and quality of received and shipped products.
• Maintain records for load tickets, Bills of Lading, and pick tickets.
• Count damaged or returned goods and reconcile inventory.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely to store, move, and load products.
• Perform safety checks on machinery and clean as needed.
• Assist with janitorial tasks to keep the facility clean and organized.
• Support yard switching and staging of trailers as needed.
