Job description

The Position

The Applied Solutions Group of The Heico Companies is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, making priority decisions in collaboration with Customer Service. The role also involves receiving stock transfers and other materials, maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Pick materials from the warehouse to assemble orders.
2. Read and understand pick slips to determine shipping requirements and special instructions.
3. Package items appropriately for carrier shipment.
4. Receive inbound stock transfers and other materials; place received items in designated warehouse locations.
5. Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean warehouse.
6. Perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a related role.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to operate lift trucks, hand jacks, computerized scales, wrapping machines, and metal banding machines.
• Must demonstrate accurate, careful, and safe behavior.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Proficiency in keyboarding and computer data entry.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic math skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Functional literacy in English.
• Ability to see and hear to meet job requirements.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 70 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting.
