Job description

The Position

The Applied Solutions Group of The Heico Companies is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers, while making priority decisions in collaboration with Customer Service. The role also involves receiving stock transfers and other materials, maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Pull materials from the warehouse to assemble orders.
2. Read and understand pick slips to determine shipping requirements and special instructions.
3. Package items appropriately for carriers.
4. Receive inbound stock transfers and other materials; place received items in correct warehouse locations.
5. Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean warehouse.
6. Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the building as needed.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a related role.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to operate lift trucks, hand jacks, computerized scales, wrapping machines, and metal banding machines.
• Must demonstrate accurate, careful, and safe behavior.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Ability to perform keyboarding and computer data entry.
• High attention to detail.
• Basic math skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Proficient in English language.
• Ability to see and hear to meet job requirements.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 70 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting.
