Job description

The Position

The Applied Solutions Group of The Heico Companies is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers, making priority decisions in collaboration with Customer Service. The role also involves receiving stock transfers and other materials, maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Pick materials from the warehouse to assemble orders.
2. Read and interpret pick slips to determine shipping requirements and special instructions.
3. Package items appropriately for carriers.
4. Receive inbound stock transfers and other materials; place received items in designated warehouse locations.
5. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment.
6. Perform routine maintenance tasks as requested.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a related role.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to operate lift trucks, hand jacks, computerized scales, wrapping machines, and metal banding machines.
• Must demonstrate accurate, careful, and safe behavior.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Proficiency in keyboarding and computer data entry.
• High attention to detail.
• Basic math skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to see and hear adequately to perform job duties.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 70 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting required.
