Job Summary

Supports warehouse operation functions, including receiving freight, checking for damages or shortages, distributing materials, filling orders, and maintaining inventory and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Receive incoming freight, check for damages or shortages.
• Distribute materials to correct stock locations.
• Fill special orders/backorders and follow up on discrepancies.
• Check and pack materials for delivery, coordinate deliveries, and maintain shipping equipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and vehicle condition.
• Operate equipment safely and support warehouse operations.

Non-essential Functions

• Assist customer service functions like order entry and returns.
• Provide delivery to customer sites and assist with loading/unloading trucks.
• Report maintenance, repair, or security concerns.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred two years of work experience, including warehouse/distribution and forklift operation.
• Driving candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and may need a medical certification.
• Knowledge of Windows, Internet, email, and SAP is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

• Experience in warehouse operations and driving criteria as above.
• Proficiency with computers and safety standards.
