Job summary

Core-Mark International seeks Warehouse Selectors in Gardiner, ME to pick orders and pack boxes for customer shipments.

Schedule features a 4-day work week (Mon–Thu) with a 3:00pm start and shift length varying by interview. Pay ranges from $20–$22 per hour, depending on location and experience. You’ll work in a distribution environment supporting safe, efficient warehousing operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–90 pounds and work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Able to obtain powered equipment certifications (e.g., forklift).
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Select products from various departments/zones to fulfill orders.
• Pack products securely in cartons and totes for shipment.
• Ensure proper labeling, packing integrity, and accurate order fulfillment.
• Record quantities received and distributed; maintain clean, organized work area.
• Follow safety policies and company procedures at all times.

Position Details

Warehouse Selectors play a critical role in ensuring that the warehouse runs smoothly. Order selecting in various departments/zones, assisting in other departments as needed are crucial to getting all product out to the customer. Order selectors are responsible for selecting product, packing into boxes/totes ensuring product is shipped correctly and safely.

$20.00 - $22.00/hour (will be discussed further in an interview)

Position Purpose

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.
• Maintains a high level of attention to detail by ensuring that proper attention is given to all areas including but not limited to: balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other areas as assigned.
• Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
• Packs products securely in cartons and totes.
• Ensures application of shipping ID and mark cartons/totes with truck run and stop number.
• Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Performs end of shift tasks such as: charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
• Maintains clean and orderly workstation; return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensure the work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves and conveyors, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to approximately 50 to 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
• Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Compensation

$20.00 - $22.00/hour (Depending on position, will be discussed further in an interview)
