Position Details

Warehouse Associate (Night) – Waynesboro, VA

Purpose

Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., located in Central and Southwest VA, is a large beverage distribution company seeking a full-time WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (NIGHT) for our Waynesboro division. The individual in this position will be responsible for safely picking, moving, and loading beverage products onto delivery trucks. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager (Night).

Duties

• Pick orders with accuracy and speed.
• Replenish pick locations as needed.
• Function in a fast-paced environment, as a member of a team and independently.
• Build pallets that travel safely without damage.
• Load delivery trucks and other vehicles.
• Maintain a clean environment.
• Adhere to strict safe working practices and company policies.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Experience with computerized warehousing preferred.
• Forklift or electric pallet jack experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, manipulate fine finger movements, speak clearly, hear, see (to read and drive), and lift/move/carry 25-40 lbs. repeatedly, occasionally up to 170 lbs. when handling kegs. Must be able to bend, lift, carry, climb, stoop, and stack using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.
