Job description

Join to apply for the Warehouse Associate - Material Handler role at White River Marine Group.

This position is responsible for picking parts and materials and delivering them to the proper location. It also involves unloading deliveries and placing items in the appropriate areas. A Class E license is required. The role includes operating a forklift, handling inbound and outbound trucks, and performing heavy lifting.

Tools and Equipment: Hand and powered truck, computer keyboard and terminal, shrink-gun, heat-resistant equipment, and protective gear such as safety glasses with side shields.

Duties include:

1. Picking parts from various locations based on daily requirements and staging for delivery.
2. Transporting items to designated areas.
3. Unloading shipments, verifying serial numbers or quantities, and placing items correctly.
4. Processing inventory paperwork and updating computer reports.
5. Using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
6. Completing duties timely and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
7. Performing other assigned tasks.

Functional Factors: Heavy lifting and carrying over 60 lbs, repeated bending, climbing, operating forklifts, pushing, reaching overhead, and rapid mental and muscular coordination are required. Hearing aids are permitted, and the ability to distinguish numbers and understand written instructions is necessary. Tasks involve standing, walking, kneeling, and working on ladders or scaffolding occasionally.

Environmental Factors: Work occurs outdoors and indoors, in extreme cold and heat, dusty or fume-filled environments, around moving objects, and on uneven surfaces. The role is self-directed and involves teamwork.
