Bellmont Cabinets in Sumner, WA is seeking an Edgeband Operator to join the machining department. You will work with edge banding on cabinet components to create a seamless, professional finish in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with edge banding or CNC machining, with comprehensive training provided. This is a swing shift position with opportunities for growth within a craftsman-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Prior edge banding or CNC machining experience in cabinetry, wood products, or custom furniture is a plus; training provided.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds; team assistance for heavier lifts.
• Able to read production schedules, job cards, and barcodes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain machine and work area for safety and quality.
• Verify barcodes and quality before moving to next production stage.

You’ll work with raw cabinet components and edge banding materials to produce high-quality cabinetry components with seamless, professional edges that exceed expectations.

Qualifications: What You Bring

• Prior edge banding or CNC machining experience, ideally in cabinetry, wood products, or custom furniture, is a plus. However, your eagerness to learn and strong work ethic are what truly matter. We're committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
• Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, computer interfaces and small barcodes.
• A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
