Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is hiring for Warehouse Associate and Lift Truck Operator positions on 2nd and 3rd shifts in the Port Wentworth, GA area. Starting pay is $19.16–$21.64 per hour with progression to $22.53 at 6 months and $24.07 at 1 year.

2nd shift runs 3pm–11pm; 3rd shift runs 11pm–7am, Monday–Friday. Responsibilities include operating lift equipment, moving flooring materials, ensuring safe storage, and processing shipping documents.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 51lbs repetitively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to attend training on 1st shift for the first two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving a pull task with info on flooring material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Transport flooring material from trailers to storage location, and from storage location to Shaw trucks for shipping.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Report unsafe storage areas and working conditions to Supervisors.
• Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.
• Tape and repair damaged packaging. Maintain clean and tidy workspaces.

Warehouse Associate/Lift Truck Operator - 2nd/3rd shift

Position Overview

Shaw Industries is looking for Forklift/ Reach Truck Operators & Warehouse Associates for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in the Port Wentworth and Rincon area.

Pay

Starting pay is $19.16 -21.64/hr. LTO II associates have the opportunity to progress at 6 months to $22.53/hr and 1 year to $24.07/hr.

Hours Available For This Position Are

• 2nd shift hours are Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm
• 3rd shift hours are Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am.

Responsibilities

• Receiving a pull task with information on the flooring material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by fork lift to and from location.
• Transport flooring material from trailers to storage location, and from storage location to the customer or Shaw trucks for shipping.
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Responsible for reporting unsafe storage areas (leaning pallets, damaged walls, etc.) and unsafe working conditions to Supervisors.
• Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.
• Tape and repair any damaged packaging. Maintain clean and tidy workspaces.
