Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking Forklift/Reach Truck Operators and Warehouse Associates for 2nd and 3rd shift roles in the Port Wentworth and Rincon area near Savannah, GA. Starting pay is $19.16-$21.64 per hour, with progression to $22.53 at 6 months and $24.07 at 1 year.

2nd shift runs Monday–Friday from 3pm to 11pm; 3rd shift runs 11pm–7am. Responsibilities include receiving and pulling flooring materials with a lift truck, transporting pallets, and keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 51 lbs repetitively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for shipping documents and store orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift/reach truck to receive and pull flooring materials.
• Transport pallets to and from trailers and storage locations.
• Maintain safe, clean workspaces and report unsafe conditions.
• Read, write, and comprehend shipping documents and bin locations.
• Tape and repair damaged packaging as needed.

Warehouse Associate/Lift Truck Operator - 2nd/3rd shift**Position Overview**Shaw Industries is looking for Forklift/ Reach Truck Operators & Warehouse Associates for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in the Port Wentworth and Rincon area.**Starting pay is $19.16 -21.64/hr.** LTO II associates have the opportunity to progress at 6 months to $22.53/hr and 1 year to $24.07/hr.**Hours available for this position are:*** 2nd shift hours are Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm* 3rd shift hours are Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am.**Responsibilities*** Receiving a pull task with information on the flooring material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.* Transporting a pallet by fork lift to and from location.* Transport flooring material from trailers to storage location, and from storage location to the customer or Shaw trucks for shipping.* Maintain a safe work environment* Responsible for reporting unsafe storage areas (leaning pallets, damaged walls, etc.) and unsafe working conditions to Supervisors.* Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.* Tape and repair any damaged packaging.
