Job summary

Ashley Furniture is hiring a Retail Warehouse Associate to help move, prepare and deliver furniture nationwide. You will participate in inventory management, product handling and quality checks while delivering strong service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, assist with repairs and repackaging, and uphold Ashley’s safety standards. This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 100 pounds with or without assistance.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution or inventory is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards.
• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training programs.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, move, store, assemble and prepare furniture during distribution.
• Operate forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks and dollies per safety rules.
• Inspect and maintain merchandise to Ashley quality standards.
• Load, unload, organize and stage products for efficient operations.
• Assist with product prep, minor repairs and repackaging as needed.
• Support inventory activities including cycle counts and stock checks.
• Provide exemplary customer service as a friendly Ashley representative.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment with proper documentation.

Your Impact on OurRetail Fulfillment Centers:

• Safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture and home furnishings throughout the warehouse and distribution process.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies, while following all safety procedures.
• Inspect, prepare, andmaintainmerchandise to ensure products meet Ashley quality standards before customer pickup or delivery.
• Load, unload, organize, and stage merchandise to support efficient warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
• Assistwith product preparation, minor repairs, touch-ups, and repackaging to ensure merchandise iscustomer-ready.
• Support inventory management activities, including merchandise tracking, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service by creating positive experiences for customers in the warehouse and in their homes, serving as a professional and trusted representative of the Ashley brand.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while completing required documentation accurately and on time.

• Physical Capability: Able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture and merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds, withassistancefor heavier items as needed, while performing frequent physical activity throughout the workday.
• Warehouse & Technical Skills: Experience in warehouse, distribution, retail, furniture handling, inventory, assembly, material handling, or powered industrial equipment operation is preferred but notrequired; we will train the right candidate.
