Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate in Bolingbrook, IL to maintain floor inventory, coordinate with the Visual Merchandiser, and manage warehouse operations for showroom and customer pickup/delivery.

You will unload/load from semi-trailers, move products to the floor, wrap and store sold items, document receipts, and help with housekeeping and basic repairs. This role requires lifting 100 lbs+, flexibility, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manually unload and load products repeatedly from semi-trailers.
• Maintain floor inventory by arranging the showroom floor and setting up incoming products.
• Transfer products from the warehouse to the floor and monitor product quality.
• Remove sold products from the floor, wrap and store them for customer delivery, or load them into customer vehicles for pickup.
• Communicate with the Visual team daily or weekly to prioritize work for arranging the floor and incoming merchandise.
• Handle clerical aspects of warehouse operations, including documenting product receipt.
• Receive, distribute, and install parts for repairing floor samples as needed.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse, perform housekeeping duties and keep the backroom clean.
• Perform building maintenance tasks and complete minor repairs as necessary.
• Complete weekly warehouse checklist and assist in reducing store operating expenses.

Job description

• Pay or shift range: $16 USD to $19 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Purpose at Ashley:

The Retail Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels on the sales floor and collaborating with the Visual Merchandiser to ensure effective product placement. They oversee warehouse operations, including product setup, wrapping, and storage for customer pick-up or delivery, whileupholding the warehouse's cleanliness and organization.

What You’ll Do

• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management

Compensation:

This position pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$19.00.
