Job summary

Snap-on is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Corporate Headquarters in Kenosha, WI. This on-site role assembles, sorts, counts, packs, and ships inventory from our kitting distribution center, using laser etch machines, WMS, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, cycle counts, picking, packing, and auditing stock; maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Basic math aptitude.
• Basic PC skills.
• Effective communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to comprehend oral and written instructions and execute them accurately.
• Ability to frequently crouch, kneel, stand, stoop, and walk; climb stairs/ladders.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to overtime and adjust schedule as needed.
• Prior warehousing, material handling, shipping/receiving, forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using powered forklifts or hand pallet jacks.
• Receive stock by comparing stock number and quantity against receiving documents.
• Put away stock in picking and reserve locations.
• Count and verify stock in locations; count bulk stock.
• Process customer orders by picking stock and verifying against docs.
• Pack stock into shipping cartons or assemble kits.
• Operate laser etch machines and warehouse management systems; use RF scanner and banders.
• Verify items via audit process before shipping.
• Follow all procedures safely and accurately.
• All other duties as assigned.
