Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. in Laurel, MD is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations. You will receive freight, check for damages, distribute stock, and fill orders while coordinating with carriers when needed.

The role requires attention to inventory accuracy, safety, and efficient handling of material to serve customers and maintain clean, organized stock locations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is also preferred.
• Candidate must be at least 21 years of age if driving and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders/backorders as material is received.
• Coordinates deliveries with trucks or carrier partners when needed.
• Maintains inventory stock locations and keeps shelves neat and orderly.
• Fills orders for delivery to customers and communicates stock issues.
• Maintains delivery vehicle and daily logs as required.
