Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Warehouse Worker to receive, inspect, label, and organize products, ensuring inventory accuracy and adherence to safety standards. The role includes handling pallets, FIFO controls for perishable items, and occasional forklift operation within client sites.

The position requires basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in a physically active environment.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb.
• Some client locations require a current valid driver's license. If this is required, an MVR will be run as part of your pre-employment screening process.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store incoming products, applying FIFO for perishables.
• May require training and operation of pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload and transport products within the warehouse and to client locations; may use carts, PIV, or motor vehicles.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on location schedules.
• Complete administrative duties including inventory counts, temperature/spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and related records (paper or handheld/PC).
• Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety policies (OSHA, SDS, PPE).
• Ensure security of client and company assets.
• Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business activities and attend meetings as required.
• Role may involve physical demands and uniforms as applicable.
